BUFFALO TWP. RESIDENTS

             The Zoning Hearing Board of Buffalo Township will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at 6:30 P.M. at the Buffalo Township Municipal Building, 109 Bear Creek Road, Sarver, PA 16055.  The Board will consider the appeal of Joseph & Malary (Bobeck) Cene, 169 Beale Road, Sarver, PA 16055 (Parcel ID# 040-1F79-14H) regarding a determination by the Zoning Officer that the appellants are engaging in the activity of  raising livestock and/or animal husbandry on property that is Zoned R-2 Residential.  Husbandry of farm animals qualifies as “Agriculture” as defined in §702 of the Buffalo Township Zoning Ordinance.  The property at 169 Beale Road is currently zoned R-2, which makes it ineligible for any agricultural activities thereon, including the raising of livestock and/animal husbandry.  Engaging in theses activities constitutes a violation of Buffalo Township Zoning Ordinance §206, relating to the permitted usages of an R-2 zoned property.
