Volunteer Fire Departments
The Buffalo Township Supervisors have designated Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Company and Sarver Volunteer Fire Company as the Fire Departments that provide emergency service for Buffalo Township. Both departments work together to provide emergency service for residents of Buffalo Township through Butler County 911.
These fire departments operate through a volunteer force and are always in need of new individuals willing to serve their community. If interested please contact the stations. Ask yourself: if not you, then who?
**Due to Winfield VFC disbanding, Buffalo Township VFC, Saxonburg VFC and Herman VFC have been given sections of Winfield Township to cover calls as well as all three departments working together to cover that entire township.**
Dial 911 for Emergency Service; do not call the Departments directly.
