NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING & INTENT TO ADOPT

BUFFALO TOWNSHIP – BUTLER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA

The Board of Supervisors of Buffalo Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, will hold a public hearing on June 9, 2021, at 6:45 p.m., for a conditional use application submitted by PennEnergy Resources, LLC, 1000 Commerce Drive, Suite 400, Pittsburgh, PA 15275, pertaining to property identified as Tax Map Parcel No. 040-1F92-A13-0000 located off of Ekastown Road in Sarver, Pennsylvania.

The application is for the construction and operation of an unconventional natural gas well site on a 64.962-acre parcel under Article 3 of the of the Buffalo Township Zoning Ordinance. The hearing will address matters related to PennEnergy’s application, including compliance with all Township construction and operation requirements.

Citizens’ comments relative to the proposed conditional use application will be heard at the above-referenced public hearing and a copy of the application and proposed resolution permitting the Conditional Use may be examined upon request at the Buffalo Township Municipal Building at 109 Bear Creek Road, Sarver, PA, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday.

The conditional use application will be considered for adoption at the regular monthly meeting of the Board of Supervisors following the above-referenced public hearing.
