Buffalo Township Recreation Committee
The Board of Supervisors created an advisory committee for Parks and Recreation in late 2006. The committee worked with Pashek Landscape Architects to create a recreational plant to present to the Board of Supervisors. This committee was made possible through the grant we received with Clinton Township. The committee submitted a Mini-Comprehensive Recreational Plan to the Board of Supervisors in November 2007. The Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the plan. This plan allowed the Board of Supervisors to create a recreational impact fee that will be assessed on new development to help fund our recreation. The Board of Supervisors will be creating a permanent Recreation Board in 2008 that will be given a budget and will be in charge of implementing the recreation plan.
